Create. Inspire. Unwind.

Welcome to Handicrafts Haven, a space where creativity flows, hands stay busy, and friendships grow. Whether you love crocheting, knitting, embroidery, painting, jewelry-making, or any other handmade craft, this is a place to bring your projects, share ideas, and enjoy the company of like-minded teens.

We meet monthly alongside Bookish Bliss, so you can work on your craft while discussing the latest book selection—or just enjoy a relaxed time creating and chatting. No deadlines, no pressure—just a welcoming space to unwind and make something beautiful.

Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting out, bring your materials, your imagination, and a desire to create. Let’s make something amazing together!

Additional Details

Supply Swap: Have extra yarn, beads, fabric, or other materials you don’t need? Bring them to Handicrafts Haven and swap with fellow creators. This is a great way to share, discover new materials, and keep the creative energy flowing without breaking the bank. You can take what you need, contribute what you don’t, and even pick up something new to try.

Handmade for a Purpose: While many projects are personal, we also have the opportunity to give back. If you’d like, you can donate some or all of what you make. We partner with senior homes, shelters, and ministries to share handmade gifts with those in need—warm scarves, cozy blankets, jewelry, greeting cards, and other crafted items that bring joy to others.

Open-Ended Creativity: There’s no structured curriculum or required projects—just a welcoming space to bring whatever you’re working on and create at your own pace. Whether you’re finishing a long-term piece, experimenting with something new, or just doodling while chatting, all forms of creativity are welcome.

No Experience Necessary: You don’t have to be an expert. If you’re new to a craft, chances are someone in the group can help get you started. We encourage sharing skills, learning from each other, and enjoying the process without pressure or perfectionism.
